The first month of the Travis remodel went quickly and smoothly. We spent the first ten days dismantling the interior. I had suggested using KSL.com to try to sell off any re-useable parts. Inge was able to net close to $10,000 for parts that could have just as easily been tossed in the dumpster.
Once the interior was stripped, we were able to cut loose the roof and bring in a crane to lift it off. Many of the walls were also craned away and then the track hoe finished the demolition. The month closed out with the house demolished, foundation completed and ready for framing.
